Company Description

Our customer, a leading Tier 1 Supplier in the Automotive Industry, is looking for capable Manager (m/f/d) to take a leading role in the European Electronics Engineering Team focusing on the hardware engineering for powertrain-related electronic products such as engine or transmission control units. As Manager
you are accountable for handling mass production related HW engineering task for EU customers including the disciplinary management for the relevant team in the Engineering Centre. Additionally you are responsible for the achievement of assigned targets regarding the product development, product quality and project delivery.

Your Tasks

  • Leading technical role in the management of the embedded system hardware projects
  • Instruct and support your reports to achieve the teams' targets in the development and implementation of strategies as well as in obtaining the European customer's real future needs
  • Continuously improve the relationship with the customers as well as Company's products, organization and procedures
  • Responsible for managing the team budget and resources
  • Apply the company policies for target setting and perform the employee appraisal process taking care as well of the development and education of the engineers in your team

Your Profile

  • Passioned for technical products and have a university degree in information technology, electrical, electronic or control engineering
  • Background of at least several years in the development of electronics control units in the automotive (supplier) industry
  • In your past professional career you have demonstrated your project delivery capability and have been working in a customer-facing role allowing you to develop your negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strategic and logic thinking and sound judgment ability
  • Comfortable working in and managing a multicultural team using an open way of communication
  • Demonstrate strong organizational capability and apply high quality standards to your work
  • Work within an international and highly diverse and multi-cultural organization on a day-to-day basis
  • Fluent English is required. A good command of German and/ or other European languages is an additional benefit
  • Open for regular business travel
